Work drawing challenge time! Another topic from the AVA blog. I also posted up some of my rough/quick sketches that I use to figure out my image. If you look close you can see the influence that bled over from each one of the sketches into the final image. Enjoy.

life drawings from my book

I am coming to that point again where my drawing book is more than half full and I haven't post a single image...Shame to me. So I will get started with a few life drawings from the holiday season. The woman on the left was drawn while waiting in the parking lot of a grocery store for my wife to buy a few last minute things. Both of my girls where asleep in the car so I felt like I should take advantage of the silence and draw the amazing people who only come out to during the holidays. The skinny guy on the right is from the Oakland airport. I was stuck there until very late one night due to weather delays.

3D Octo Collab

My cousin Gabe is currently working on a 3D version of one of my characters. Thought I would post up the original concept and his current progress on the model to show you guys. Looks great Gabe! Check out his blog for more info and updates.
